Nature lovers prepare to be blown away with the wonder of Indian wildlife. The land of the tigers is true to its name and we guarantee to give you the true jungle book experience. In 12 days you will experience natural wonders, stunning scenery and make life long memories and friends.Day 01: Delhi
We will meet you at a location convenient to you and transfer you to your hotel in the heart of Delhi. In the afternoon, you will be taken on a guided city tour of the best Old and New Delhi. Expect to the wowed at historical sites of the city such as Qutab Minar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Estate), Parliament House, and Secretariat building.
You’ll see many sights if the city and have a chance to try bartering in a local market. After a busy day sightseeing, we will return to your Delhi hotel for the night.Day 02: Delhi - Nagpur – Kanha National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight for Nagpur. Once in Nagpur, we will drive you to Kanha national park (5 hours) where you can check in and freshen up in the park hotel.
Kanha National Park was created in 1955 and is one of the larger wildlife parks in India. Spread out over 900 square kilometers, the park is a natural habitat of the Royal Bengal tiger, leopards, sloth bears and hundreds of different species of flora and fauna.
It is said that the jungles of Kanha were Rudyard Kipling’s inspiration for The Jungle Book. This will be your first day on the Tiger Trail as we spend the afternoon on a jeep safari around the park.Day 03: Kanha
You will spend the first half of the day on a deeper jungle safari. With more than 900 square kilometers to cover, and hundreds of species of animals and plants to see, your day will be filled with adventures. Overnight at the park hotel.Day 04: Kanha — Bandhavgarh
Start the day with another morning safari across Kanha and then drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. The 250 kms drive will take about 5 hours. Although one of the smaller national parks, Bandhavgarh has one of the highest population density numbers of Royal Bengal tigers. Once home to the white tiger, the park is now a protected eco-zone populated by panthers, bisons and various species of deer.
Upon arrival at Bandhavgarh, we will check-in at your park hotel for the night.Day 05: Bandhavgarh
Spend the first half of the day on a jungle safari. The flora of Bandhavgarh is mainly a moist deciduous forest, although at higher altitudes the forest changes. Overnight at the park hotel.Day 06: Bandhavgarh — Khajuraho
After a morning safari at Bandhavgarh, we will drive to about 6 hours to Khajuraho, A UNESCO World Heritage Site. This small temple town is home to one of the largest group of Hindu and Jain temples constructed in the medieval age, famous for erotic sculptures carved on the outer temple walls. Spend the night in KhajurahoDay 07: Khajuraho — Orchha
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then travel to Orchha, historical Bundelkhand Empire Capital. Visit picturesque River Betwa, Jahangir Mahal, Orchha Fort, Rai Parveen Mahal, and Satya Narayan Temple. This will be a calm and relaxing day deep in history and beautiful temples. Overnight at a hotel in Orchha.Day 08: Orchha — Agra
In the morning, we will explore village life at the Betwa River and Orchha. In the afternoon we will travel 3 hours to Agra, visiting Gwalior palaces and forts along the way. After arriving in Agra, visit the Red Fort and Etmaudullah’s Tomb. Later, take a walk through the Old City. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Agra or relax in your hotel. Overnight at a hotel in Agra.Day 09: Agra – Ranthambhore
Witness the stunning dawn-view visit of Taj Mahal, the best time to visit the Taj and discover the wonder of marble that seems to change colours as the sun rises. A UNESCO World Heritage Site that was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is best viewed and enjoyed in the peaceful early morning.
After visiting the Taj Mahal, we will drive you to Ranthambhore stopping on the way to visit Royal Fatehpur Sikri Mughal Capital. Ranthambhore National Park is rich in wildlife, including tigers, nilgais, jungle cats, muggers and pythons. You will stay the night at one of the park’s jungle lodges.Day 10: Ranthambhore
Take a full day safari in Ranthambhore National Park. Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, this is one of the finest places to view animals in all of India. Ranthambore National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957; in 1974 it gained the protection of "Project Tiger". In 1981, it was given the status of a national park. Overnight at your park lodge hotel.Day 11: Ranthambhore - Jaipur
Welcome to the charming Pink City, and the home of Hathroi! We will take you to the best places in our city including the City Palace and Jantar Mantar Observatory. Later, you are free to visit Albert Hall Museum, Hindu Birla Temple or anywhere else you would like. The beauty of Jaipur is that its unique architecture, amazing shopping and relaxed atmosphere are visible everywhere.Day 12: Jaipur - Delhi
Early morning visit of Wind Palace and Amber Fort. If you wish you can take an Elephant Safari from the bottom of Amber Fort to the top. You can also go to Jaigarh Fort and Tiger Fort. These forts displays a beautiful mix of Mughal and Rajput styles of architecture. On the way back, visit Water Palace, which was a resting place for the kings of Rajasthan.
