Day 01: Arrive in New Delhi »
Traditional welcome - Atithi Devo Bhava (Guest is god) - on arrival with garlanding at Delhi international airport by a Holiday India Travel executive. Transferred in your exclusive airconditioned deluxe car to your hotel. Afterward, take a complete day tour of historic city of Delhi. The city where you can experience the influence of those who once ruled this region; a city built and destroyed and rebuilt seven times. The guided tour takes you to the monuments that depict the different eras. The tour includes visit to a Hindu temple of Goddess of wealth, Laxmi; the magnificent Red Fort (exterior); Jama Masjid - one of the Asia's largest mosques; Rajghat - the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the "Father of the Nation". Afternoon tour of New Delhi to include Humanyun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, India Gate, President's House and a drive through Connaught Place. Overnight at a hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi — Jaipur - 5 Hrs Drive »
In the morning, proceed for a drive to Jaipur - the Pink City of India. Upon arrival in Jaipur transfer to your hotel to freshen up before taking a city tour of Jaipur covering Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace, and Jantar Mantar (Royal Astronomical Observatory). Overnight at a hotel in Jaipur.

Breakfast at your hotel is followed by an excursion to the majestic Amber Fort on an elephant, the erstwhile capital of the Kachwaha Rajputs before they moved to their newly built capital in Jaipur. This is the only fort where one can still go by an elephant like a Maharaja. Then visit Jaigarh Fort and Tiger Fort on the way to Water Palace. Take leisure time to shop in this famous city of gems and jewels, or enjoy a walk in the colorful bazaar. In the evening, go to Birla Temple. Overnight at a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur — Agra - 5 Hrs Drive»
Breakfast at your hotel, then driven to Agra, the city of world famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the erstwhile capital of the Mughal Empire built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned 15 years later due to scarcity of water. See Darbar-e-Aam, Palaces, Panch Mahal and Taansen Seat. Continue to Agra and check into hotel. Later, visit Agra’s Red Fort, built in red sandstone by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan. Visit the halls of private and public; Itimad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) described as a 'Jewel Box' and often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. It was built between 1622 and 1628. Also visit a marble factory to witness the inlay work of precious stones known as Pietra dura. It's the same art of stonework illustrated on the Taj Mahal & Baby Taj. It's a learning experience and a treat to the eyes to see the artistry. Overnight at a hotel in Agra.
Day 05: Agra — Haridwar – 6-7 Hrs Drive »
Dawn-view visit of Taj Mahal to witness the wonder of marble that seems to change colors as the sun rises. A UNESCO World Heritage Site that was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is best viewed and enjoyed in this non-chaotic and less crowded time of the day. Taj Mahal is closed on Friday. Return to your hotel for breakfast. After visiting the Taj Mahal, leave for Haridwar. Check into your hotel. In the evening, visit Har-ki-Pauri to view the holy Ganges Aarti. Brahma Kund is where the main bathing takes place. The myths says this is the place where the nectar can dissolve in the holy water of the river Ganges. If you wish, have a dip there later after viewing Aarti. Visit the market near the place. Later, return to your hotel in Haridwar for the night.
Day 06 Haridwar :
A morning visit of Haridwar: Daksh Prajapati Temple, Ananand Mai Ashram, Parad (Mercury) Shivling in Kankhal Region, Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi (both by ropeway), Maya Devi, Pawan Dham, Bhuma Niketan, Parmarth, Bharat Mata Mandir, Shanti Kunj, Saptrishi Ashram and others. Overnight at a hotel in Haridwar.
Day 07: Haridwar — Rishikesh - 1Hr Drive :
In the morning, drive to Rishikesh, another ancient place famous for its Ashrams and for grand viewing of the Ganges. Visit Ashrams, some of which are internationally recognized as a center of philosophical studies, yoga, and meditation. Check into your hotel. In the evening, visit Triveni Ghat to view the holy Ganges Aarti. Triveni Ghat: A sacred bathing spot on the bank of the river Ganga where devotees take holy dips and offer prayers. Devotees bathe here with the belief that the water has the power to purify them. Triveni Ghat is also called because it is believed to be the confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati rivers. It is an interesting place to be at dawn when people make offerings of milk to the river and feed the fish. After sunset, as a part of the Aarti ceremony, lamps are floated on the water and provide a spectacular view. Overnight at a hotel in Rishikesh.
Day 08: Rishikesh — Delhi - 5 Hrs Drive
Drive back to Delhi and transfer to Delhi International Airport to board your flight for onward journey with sweet memories of your Heritage of Rajasthan tour. Check-in for international flights beginning 3 hours prior to flight departure time for economy class or 2 hours before business/first class.
